When you’re out there on the shop floor, curing comes down to two things: power and control. Our lamp runs on a 400V setup, because that’s what industrial power looks like. It gives you reliable ignition and a stable arc—even when the voltage isn’t playing nice. And the 2500W? That’s concentrated energy packed into a 300mm length. Enough punch to set inks fast, without turning the whole line into a science project. The short-arc design keeps the heat where you need it—on the work—instead of wasting it everywhere else. What it’s made of
The heart of it is quartz. We chose it because it handles sudden temperature swings without cracking, and it lets the UV through cleanly. Inside, a halogen fill keeps the filament stable and helps the output stay consistent over the life of the lamp—so you don’t get that annoying fade that leads to uneven curing. And the R7s connector? Not an afterthought. It’s a standard two-pin setup that locks the lamp in place and keeps alignment tight. That matters when your machines are humming 24/7 and the whole floor is vibrating.
Where it shines—and what to watch for
If you run coated stock or high-speed presses, you need a lamp that can take the grind and still hold its spec. This one is built for that. The 300mm length and focused 2500W output help you hit the right temperature window without overheating the substrate. Installation is straightforward, too. The R7s base drops right into a lot of existing fixtures, so changeover doesn’t eat your day. Here’s the honest part: 2500W in a 300mm tube runs hot.
