If you crank up the wattage to speed up your line, you put a lot more stress on the quartz. If your cooling isn’t up to the task, the tube just burns out. It’s a simple equation, but if you get it wrong, your downtime spikes.
The Small Stuff That Actually Matters
We use high-purity fused quartz. Why? Because standard glass basically eats the UV light you’re paying for. And we don’t do “generic” pins. We look at your current load and pick the right connector. For high-heat zones, we go with heavy-duty ceramic. For tight spaces, we find a precision fit. It sounds like a small detail, but a loose connection creates an arc. And an arc kills your lamp. Fast.

Our lamps are designed to drop right into your existing systems. But you can’t just swap a 200W tube for a 500W one and call it a day. You’ve got to make sure your ballast can handle the extra juice, or you’ll fry your controllers. We give you the exact specs you need so there are no surprises.
